"Papa Bear"
Jay Ruane is a Florida state-licensed commercial and residential
building contractor. A resident of Citrus County for more than
20 years, Jay has been involved in all aspects of the
construction industry. "Papa Bear" served as a helicopter crew
chief aboard the USS Nimitz and the USS LaSalle, before
returning to Citrus County.
The company got its name from his
daughter - Kristin - who called him "Papa Bear" when she was
little. She made him promise to name a future business venture
"Papa Bear," hence the name, "Papa Bear Construction."
Jay currently has five different
models of homes, and he is building them all over Citrus County.
His unique designs set him apart from other builders. All
phases of construction are supervised directly by Papa Bear; he
does not use supervisors, so you can count on excellent service
and personalized attention.
You can trust Papa Bear to build a
quality home for you and your cubs.
